I Charge Cool 'n Free

I Charge Cool - Usually when you want to see how a charge is coming along, you have to walk over to the mobile phone, click it, and read a tiny indicator.

With I Charge Cool, you can see your charging status at a glance, and your LED notifications are still visible and unaffected.

I Charge Cool's animonitor can start automatically, then indicates charging status by the gradually changing color of an energy-burst with charge level and/or clock(s) floating over it, and bouncers that go higher the more you're charged. When the burst is green and the bouncers go far across the screen, you're well charged. When the phone smiles, you're 100%.

If you don't have time to wait for a full charge and want to leave as soon as you reach a certain level, you can set a target level (or voltage) and the app will notify you with a sound so you don't even need to look.

Have you even been waiting for your phone to charge, then discovered it wasn't charging at all? The % and clock of the animonitor change to electric-blue if you're fast-charging, electric-violet if you're slow-charging, or shadows if you've lost external power. Optionally, the backlight pulses while you're plugged in, and stops pulsing if you lose power.

There are also thermoflashers that indicate the battery temperature range, in case it overheats during charging or is still too cold for safe charging after being left in a cold car. There's an optional alarm if it overheats.

BUSINESS-FRIENDLY:
· Your phone can look cool and show its status without the distraction full animation could cause while you're conducting business. Just activate Low-Distraction Mode quickly from the menu and most motion stops, while the readouts continue and the bouncers position themselves as indicators.

RESOURCE RECOVERY:
· When the animonitor closes, it requests the system to garbage-collect unused memory and resources throughout your phone into the free pools so they're ready for immediate use after you finish charging. This is an opportune time to take a few seconds to save a few seconds later.

CONSIDERATE AUTOSTARTING:
· When you plug in to a computer, the animonitor will not annoy you by activating immediately if you've set it to wait for the usual display timeout period before starting.

CLOCKS:
· You can set the clock app not to auto-activate when charging, and use I Charge Cool instead, since it shows analog and digital time plus the day of the week and the date. The animonitor can be set to display its clock(s) constantly instead of alternating with the level indicator(s).

ACCURACY:
· I Charge Cool has been seen to be more accurate than the built-in indicator in Options/Status, which can be slow to update and has been seen to be off by 2%. Whenever any aspect of your battery's status changes, I Charge Cool notices and updates all visuals within a few seconds, and sounds any programmed alarm immediately.

SECURITY:
· If "I Charge Cool" is configured to keep the display on past its normal timeout, the auto-lock also will not engage; it would block the display anyway. Auto-startup or display-time extension can be disabled and re-enabled to suit your situation. If you lock the phone, it will block the display, although the pulsating backlight can continue.
